An absolute powerhouse – literally, Medupi Power Station is an Eskom gem. It’s the fourth dry-cooled, baseload station in South Africa, the fourth largest coal plant in the southern hemisphere, and it will be the biggest dry-cooled power station in the world. The station can feed 4 764 MW into the South African power grid when in full commission.
